The Booking Process
Booking with Spa Beauty is very simple! Contact us via email or phone and tell us what date you’re interested in, the services you’d like, where you’re wedding is taking place, and a bit about yourself. We will let you know if we have Artists available for your wedding/event date within 72 hours of you contacting us. You will always speak with a real person, helping to ensure complete transparency and the highest level of communication and customer service.
Wedding/Event Deposits
We require a $100 non refundable deposit to hold your wedding/event date. This can be paid in two ways: (1) via credit/debit card (a 3% processing fee will be added), or (2) directly from a checking account with no processing fee (via electronic ACH transfer). We securely store all payment information on file. All payment information will be deleted after completion of services. The initial deposit goes towards your requested services and will show as a credit on your final invoice. ***Deposits in the form of mailed paper checks, Paypal, Venmo, or any other social form of payment are not accepted.***
Post-Deposit Process
After receiving the deposit, your service date will be held in our Master System. We will set up a future date to finalize your wedding/event service details. We have found that this allows our clients ample time to determine exact service numbers without feeling rushed or pressured. Once these details have been finalized, you will receive a service invoice, a wedding/event day itinerary, and (when applicable) a wedding day checklist with helpful information to ensure your day runs smoothly.
Services Final Payment
All weddings and events require the final payment to be made one week prior with one payment method. This can be paid in two ways: (1) via credit/debit card (a 3% processing fee will be added), or (2) directly from a checking account with no processing fee (via electronic ACH transfer). No payments will be accepted by individual Spa Beauty Artist(s), with the exception of extra gratuity if desired. ***Final Payment in the form of mailed paper checks, Paypal, Venmo, or any other social form of payment are not accepted.***
Service Times
Our goal at Spa Beauty is to stay within a realistic time frame for your services. This will be finalized once your packet/details are complete. The number of individuals involved and the services requested determines the exact amount of time our services will require. Any services that start prior to 7:45am are subject to an Early Start Fee in the amount of $75.00 per Artist.
Trial Runs
Trial runs are an opportunity for you and your Head Artist to determine and discuss your wedding day look. This ensures everyone is on the same page for your wedding day. Trial runs are scheduled 3-8 weeks prior to your wedding and are typically scheduled on weekdays due to our limited weekend availability. Your Trial Run includes one unique Hair and/or Makeup look; any additional looks will be an extra charge. Trial run pricing is the same as the wedding day services.
Travel, Parking & Gratuity
Travel within 20 miles of the service provider is included. Travel fees will be applied to distances over 20 miles. Downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul hotel parking is not included in our pricing and, when applicable, will be an additional charge on your invoice. The industry standard for gratuity is 18-20%. For your convenience, and to make things stress free, we add 18% gratuity to all services on your final invoice.
Cancellations
You are able to cancel individual services listed on your invoice up to three months prior to your scheduled services date, so long as the agreed-upon minimums are still met. Any individual service changes or cancellations made after that date for any reason will be your financial responsibility and will be charged to you at a rate of 100%. If you’ve scheduled with us inside the three-month window, changes to your services invoice are allowed up to 48 hours after you receive your finalized invoice for your services. The same applies to cancelling your working contract as a whole.
